Vampire With A Soul

I was approached by a vampire who said she was tired of feeling so empty and wanted help. I asked how I possibly could help, and she said to help her get her soul back. A fight broke out and she kept me safe. then some strange men grabbed me and drug me away. My mother was there, telling me i coudn't do that and to stay away from 'that thing' because it wasnt safe. I told her 'it's fine, i got this. you need to quit worrying so much!' and stormed off and went home, going straight to bed. when i woke up, it was time for work, and i was short a babysitter, so i asked a neighbor if she could last minute watch my children while i went to work. she said yes, and i went on to work, after a couple hours, she brought my kids to me and walked off, so now i'm dealing with work, and my two beautiful girls. Mama came over during her lunch break, asked if everything was ok, after i had gotten off the phone with the neighbor saying she was going somewhere shady and didnt wanna take the kids so she decided to just drop em off with me, and i ranted to my mom. my mom said everything was ok and that she would leave work early, and she took the kids the rest of my shift. After work, i went straight home, my mom left, and everyone went to bed. the next morning i called a friend who normally watched the girls, and asked 'please tell me you can go back to watch my kids' and ranted to her about my neighbor. She said 'yea hun! bring em on over!' and again i proceeded to work. this time it was dark, and only a few lights were on in the store for shoppers. Something didnt feel right, and the vampire showed up again. All hell breaks loose in the store, there was a huge party that broke out out of no where where people were dancing and getting married, while there was chaos of fighting, murders, and people running around screaming in fear. Again, the vampire helped keep me safe from all the destruction, we're ducking in and out of isles and bookshelves, and again my mom was there, but this time she couldnt keep up and was just yelling 'it's not safe! stop it! come back!' me and the vamp came to a huge pit illuminated completely by a white light. At the bottom were people curled up in a ball or layed out in the floor as if sleeping, and next to them, were theses shining pulsing gems. One of the people in the pit looked like the vamp i was helping. the vamp yelled 'thats it! that's my soul come on!' and we hopped down in the pit. I immediately grabbed the pulsing gems next to the 'soul' and put them in, like literally pushed them into the skin, of the vampire. there was a huge flash and then everything went dark. the pit was no longer lit up, but the vampire wasnt a vampire anymore. she had her soul back. but no we were stuck in a10ft deep pit. Some people happened to go by, and we shouted for help. they grabbed a rope and pulled us up. The partying and chaos had all disappeared, but there was a huge mess. shelves tipped over, trash and store items scattered all over the floor, random graffiti on the walls, holes in the floor and walls, some things were on fire, trash scattered everywhere. our new found friends told us to come with them and they'll take us to shelter. so we followed and the whole world seemed to have been thrown into chaos. the shelter was a small group of houses, and the were fenced like a prison. and there was a guard on duty at all times. everyone seemed really nice but keep to themselves and i'd catch them glaring at me from time to time. when they noticed i saw them, their face would go from a dark leery look to a lit up friendly one as they smiled, waved, and went about their business.
